In a few weeks, Stoic Cigars’ debut release will go on sale.
Stoic is a new company from Vance Taylor, and its cigars are produced at Klaas Kelner’s factory in the Dominican Republic. Its debut line is called Stoic, which uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper and binder over fillers from the Dominican Republic, the U.S. and an undisclosed South American country.
When it launches next month, there will be four vitolas:
Stoic Courage (5 x 50) — $10.68 (Box of 20, $213.60)
Stoic Justice (6 x 52) — $11.68 (Box of 20, $233.60)
Stoic Wisdom (7 x 48) — $12.88 (Box of 20, $257.60)
Stoic Moderation (5 1/2 x 46) — $10.68 (Box of 20, $213.60)
This is a regular production line, though the initial shipment contains 250 boxes for both the Courage and Justice and 125 boxes for each of the other two vitolas.
The brand will debut at a Nov. 16 event at Summit Cigar Co. in Akron, Ohio. Taylor told halfwheel that other retailers can expect to receive the cigars within 30 days of the event.
