Stoic Cigars Launches Premium Cigar Line Inspired by Ancient Philosophy

Highland, UT, October 30, 2024 – Stoic Cigars, a premium cigar manufacturer, today announced the launch of its inaugural line of handcrafted cigars. Founded by Vance Taylor, a seasoned business executive with a passion for cigars and philosophy, Stoic Cigars draws inspiration from the tenets of stoicism while offering a uniquely sophisticated smoking experience that blends exceptional taste with mindful reflection.

Rolled and packaged by hand at Kelner Cigars Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the initial release features a single blend called "Stoic," is limited to 750 boxes, and comes in four distinct vitolas, each representing one of the four core virtues of Stoicism:

- Courage (5 x 50)
- Justice (6 x 52)
- Wisdom (7 x 48)
- Moderation (5.5 x 46)

The cigars are meticulously crafted at Kelner Cigars under the personal supervision of President, Klaas Kelner, whose family legacy in tobacco cultivation goes back 3 generations.

“Klaas is obsessed with quality and that’s so important to me,” said Taylor, adding, “he grew up in his family's tobacco fields and, despite his young age, knows more about tobacco - how to select it, store it, prepare it, and assemble it to create flawless cigars - than most industry veterans twice his age.”

Kelner added his thoughts on the partnership. “I am happy and honored that Stoic Cigars has found a home in our factory. Vance and his philosophy for the brand align perfectly with our way of crafting premium cigars. In addition to his keen business intellect and creative brand strategy, Vance’s relentless search for unique flavors and aromas have challenged us to experiment with multiple tobacco compositions to fine tune blends that I am sure will be received with praise.”

Stoic Cigars will launch on November 16th at retail partner Summit Cigar Company in Akron, OH. The cigars come packaged in cabinet style boxes of 20 and will feature a QR code inside the band, linking customers to detailed information about the philosophy behind each blend and vitola.

Stoic Cigars will be available for purchase at select retailers nationwide, with a suggested retail price ranging from $10.68 to $12.88 depending on size.
